  • Flood Communication Remote Telemetry Unit

    The Ayyeka RTU (remote telemetry unit) integrates with water level, temperature, turbidity, rain gauges and other sensors to detect signs of floods for open water, road surface, and other at-risk sites.

    The Field Integration Software platform provides data visualization, analytics and reporting. The RTU provides edge-based real-time alerts using flood detection algorithms.

  • Non-Contact Flood Level Sensor

    The Xylem Nile 530 non-contact radar level sensor is designed for measuring and alerting for water levels in rivers, lakes, channels, road surfaces, and waste water. Integrates with the Ayyeka Wavelet RTU for data storage, communications, and reporting.

  • Rain Gauge Flood Detection Sensor

    The RM Young Rain Gauge Tipping Bucket 52202 integrates with the Ayyeka Wavelet RTU for data storage, communications, and reporting. Resolution of 0.1mm and catchment area of 200 cm2.

  • DecentLab Ultrasonic Flood Sensor

    LoRaWAN enabled non-contact flood sensor. Configurable thresholds to detect ground water or open-water levels that indicate flood risks.

    It measures the distance between the sensor head and the target (rangefinder). The measurement principle is based on ultrasonic waves which are transmitted by the sensor and reflected back from nearby objects. Using the time of flight of the sound waves and the speed of sound (temperature compensated), the sensor computes the traveling distance and thus the distance to the object. Measurement intervals are configurable.

    For each measurement, the device collects 15 distance readings (samples). Of these 15 samples, it discards all invalid samples and computes the most reliable value (median), which is transmitted as “distance” value in mm. In addition, the “number of valid samples” is also transmitted. These values allow to estimate the quality of a measurement.

    The device can accurately measure water levels up to 30 feet from mounting height, and as low as 15 feet. Battery life of 3-10 years. (10 minute intervals = 3.5 years, 60 minute intervals = 10 years).
